When both cars are relatively clean at the same time. Won’t last long.

Kinja'd!!!

By Monday, one will be caked in mud and will be washed just in time for the other one to have become totally covered in pollen. I just don’t have time for this shit.

I wanted to wash my car today, but it would have been a waste of time. It’s not the pollen that’s so bad here; it’s the dust. I live on a gravel road, which was just re-graded the other day, and hasn’t been packed down yet. Every ~5 minutes another car or two passes by, kicking up a huge cloud of dust. We’re not supposed to get any rain for nearly a week., so until then, the dust is just going to keep flying.

I have a similar problem - my office is on a property with dirt roads, and we’re doing construction, and I have to drive through two neighboring construction sites to get to the gate. So, it is kind of an exercise in futility, but if I don’t do it at least once a week, it just gets way too bad.

Oh, I know what you mean. Earlier today, I couldn’t resist hitting my windshield washers to clear my view. It made huge improvement, but where the wipers didn’t reach, the spray just turned the wet dust into mud.

I’m pretty forgiving when it comes to my car’s cleanliness (you have to be, on a road like this). A little bit of dirt doesn’t bother me, but a freshly clean patch just makes the rest of the car look horrible.

Here come the birds! They hit mine every DAMN time. I could go a month without washing, and zero strikes. If I wash it, they strike within 12 hrs.

Yep, they love that low hanging power line next to the driveway, too. The sidewalk was painted white the other day.

Don’t peel out of any car shows, or one will be covered in blood...

That’s just a negative stereotype about Italian-American Town Car owners.

Oh, you meant the Mustang.

How do you like the old Lincoln

Not quite as comfortable or as spacious as the Cadillac I used to have, but not a bad car. (Knock on wood) it’s been surprisingly reliable.

Drove it from Florida to Delaware over the summer, and since then, I’ve taken it to Atlantic City several times, Philadelphia a few times, Washington, all over Delaware and the Eastern Shore, no problems so far. It has just over 98,000 miles now, and, so far, all the repairs I’ve done have been to improve it rather than to keep it running.

They seem to be fairly durable cars.

Pretty different too. Hard to find one of those in that good of shape
